Hogweed is, without discussion, one of the most loved and most cherished players of all times. He has been around for over two years, has reached level 99 long before anyone else and has always stayed the easy approachable, friendly Italian. If you approach him for a game and he is free to play, he will always accept your offer. He has been active in all sorts of forums and has reached as the first human ever 3000, 4000 and 5000 posts. It is hardly imaginable that this is only one person. Some suggest that Hogweed, due to his overwhelming qualities, is at least worth ten persons. We agree with that statement. During the course of time he has received the honour of becoming the Head Master Assistant of this game and has been accepted as a paid member of crew. He would give his heart and soul to save this game and has been awake for days in a row in its most troubled periods. Administrators of the game know that they have a shoulder to cry on if they are in need of one and have somebody always ready to help out at hand. That is our Hogweed.

We, the Hogweed Liberation Army, were shocked that there was no such a thing as a Hogweed Fanclub and we decided to found one ourselves. Hogweed deserves such a great honour: it will be the first Fanclub ever created for a playing member of Powersoccer. The Hogweed Fan club will hold all sorts of activities. It will create Friendly Cups in honour of our Idol. It will publish interviews with the Idol himself but also with Fans of Hogweed. It will set up a pilgrimage where you can visit some important steps in the live of Hogweed. The name of the Hogweed Fan club will be Hogweed Fan club and its members will be called Slippermen, in honour of the superb and well thought team name Hogweed gave to his Powersoccer team. Have you ever heard a team name that was more original yet makes you feel calm and loved at once?

To become a Fan of Hogweed is very easy: Just list your Powersoccer name in the Hogweed Fan Club Forum Join thread and explain why you want to become a fan of Hogweed.

If you have a personal story to tell (how you met Hogweed, how Hogweed saved you from trouble, how Hogweed replied to your post in the forum, how Hogweed left you a guestbook message), please feel free to add it there. HOGWEED IS FREE !!

Yes, the rumours are true! The illustrious Hogweed has been freed from the grasp of that demonic Crew member. Once again he is free to be as lazy as he wished without guilt for not contributing. Again he can lounge on his couch with a pizza pie and a bottle of fine chianti (and just in time for the weekend too). No more does he shoulder (literally) the weight of 7 of his "fellow" Surreal clan members on top of him.

Enjoy your freedom great Hogweed. We welcome you to browse the pages of your fanclub, and maybe even grace up with a few words...

99 Slippermen: Elite Corps of Hogweed

Hogweed Fan Club is looking for 99 outstanding players to form the Slippermen.
As a Slipperman you will be asked to swear allegiance to Hogweed (through a private message or an email) and you must uphold the honour of this outstanding player at all times and at all costs. Slippermen must, upon request of Hogweed, fulfill all his game related wishes. If Hogweed for instance requests a game, you shall not refuse it. If He (!) requests your attention, you shall grant Him the time necessary.
Membership of Slippermen is not clan-related. It is completely non-partisan and shall uphold neutrality towards all clans in this game. The Slippermen will be Hogweed his secret Elite Corps. They will not be recognisable in the game of Powersoccer and only Hogweed and his faitful lieutenants Sipwell (Euro Zone) and Bigdaddyat (American Zone) will know who all the Slippermen are. Their badge nor team name nor team page will indicate that one is member of this Elite Corps. A Slipperman will, after swearing allegiance and being informed on his duties, be given a secret codeword that will, through use of public chat and public forum, allow them to contact other Slippermen in great emergencies.
Being a Slipperman does, apart from eternal honour, respect and gratitude for their loyalty, not bring any other benefits. Mercenaries of all kinds are kindly requested from applying. Membership of the Slippermen is an upgrade from ordinary Hogweed Fan Club Membership. It allows the elite of Powersoccer and the true Fans of Hogweed to bring eternal gratitude to their Mentor, their Leader and their Idol.

To apply to become a Slipperman, please contact Sipwell through his well known email address. You will, upon inspection by Himself, be sent the pledge of allegiance, the Code of Conduct and the Secret Codeword.
